Why HireFlow never rejects a candidate automatically

Most applicant tracking systems let you set up rules that reject candidates automatically: answer a knockout question the wrong way, or score below a threshold, and an email goes out. It saves time. It also quietly rejects people nobody looked at.

In HireFlow a knockout answer adds a flag to the application — “worth a closer look” — and the candidate stays in your pipeline. A match score is shown with its three parts so you can see why it is high or low. An AI-suggested grade on a written answer waits for someone to confirm or change it.

Rejection emails are delayed by 48 hours and can be cancelled, because the most common reason to reject by mistake is doing it in a hurry.

The result is a little more clicking and a lot fewer good candidates lost to a rule nobody remembers writing.
